God is looking for men and women whose hearts are right. He doesn’t evaluate us based upon human standards of success; He looks at the condition of our hearts.

Armed with faith in God and a boy’s slingshot, David singlehandedly defeated Israel’s biggest foe. But as much as he did right, David was prone to making some terrible and costly decisions. So, when you find yourself feeling angry, lonely, or afraid (like David), that’s a good time to stop making big decisions.

David certainly didn’t look like a hero. He didn’t look like a giant killer. He wasn’t trained for battle, and yet, he knew that he had to do something. The Gift of Love

Loving one another is the most powerful way we can demonstrate how much God loves us. 1 John 4:9-12 states that “God showed his love among us...that he loved us." So let's embrace this example set forth by Him through our relationships with each other — loving without hesitation or limit.

The Gift of Joy

In our world today, there is a lot to be upset or discouraged about; but the message of Christmas is: there is a lot to be joyful about because of Jesus. So choose to be joyful today!
