As a young man, David displayed tremendous courage by standing against the giant Philistine who taunted God’s people. Armed with faith in God and a boy’s slingshot, David singlehandedly defeated Israel’s biggest foe. But as much as he did right, David was prone to making some terrible and costly decisions.
